Identity, we include both individual and societal well. How the individual sees himself, as well as by society about how the concept of identity are shown. Individual's perception of itself, represents the importance, at this point. Because individuals, among other individuals within the social structure itself recognizes. In our study, teacher identity, identity of the professional dimension has been taken. Classroom teachers in elementary education who served the identity of individual identity and professional identity perception describes cases.Teaching profession today is related to educational institutions; sociological side of social, cultural, historical, economic, scientific and technological dimensions were assessed with. Today, the teaching profession, are paid wages and provided adequate facilities at the point level was not reached. The teaching profession some processes that affect the teacher's status in society and value increasingly began to weaken. For this reason the concept of teacher identity has become more important. Teacher identity; teachers' socio-demographic characteristics, occupational characteristics, achievement levels, using professional knowledge and skills levels, social structures and lifestyles, such as the location of the status includes.In order to do work on teacher identity in the universe as a randomly selected sample of 350 classroom teachers has been identified. This is an area in Malatya research on teachers planned survey was conducted.
