Evaluation of teachers' views on analogy

The purpose of this study to determine the teachers' attitudes related analogies. Total of 495 teachers in various schools within a province of Turkey took part in the research as study population that was made by survey model from non-experimental research design. The Attitude Scale For Analogies, which was developed for validity and reliability studies, was used to obtain the research data. After the necessary coding the data were transferred to SPSS 22 package program and anlyzed. As a result of statiscal anlaysis of data, a significant difference was found between seniority year and teacher 'attitude towards analogy (X2(2)=73,90,p<0,05), on the other hand no significant difference was found between teacher' brancher and gender and their attitude towards analogy. As a result of findings various suggestions were presented by commenting with learning approaches.
