Özet (EN)

The purpose of this research, to determine the relationship between school administrators ability to manage resistance to change and teachers organizational cynicism behaviors. In this context, the relationship between school administrators' ability to manage resistance to change and cynicism behaviors of teachers was discussed in terms of various demographic variables. The research was carried out on teachers working in primary and secondary education levels in the central district of Bolu in the 2016-2017 academic year and survey model was used. The sample of the study consists of 404 teachers selected according to the representation ratio in the central district. The data in the research collected by using "Scale of School Administrators' Ability to Apply Resistance to Change Reduction Methods" which developed by Göksoy (2010) and "Organizational Cynicism Scale" developed by Sağır ve Oğuz (2012). The data obtained were analyzed using SPSS program and Kolmogorov-Smirnov and Shapiro-Wilk tests were used to determine which analyzes to perform. As a result of the normality analysis, it was determined that the data did not show normal distribution. For this reason, Mann Whitney-U and Kruskal Wallis tests, which are non-parametric analyzes, were performed. According to the results of the research, it was found that school administrators' ability to manage resistance to change is "often" at the level according to teacher perceptions, cynicism behaviors of teachers, the factors that reduce performance and away from the institution working in the sub-dimensions at the level of "disagree", negative attitudes towards school and participation of employees in decisions applications in the sub-dimensions at the level of " strongly disagree". The school administrators' ability to manage change was examined according to the demographic variables of the teachers and it was reached there is no significant difference according to gender, marital status, seniority, branch and type of school variables. However, it was found that organizational cynicism behaviors revealed a significant difference in favor of teachers who had seniority between 6-10 years in the sub-dimension of moving away from the institution where they worked with the professional seniority variable.
