Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this research is to reveal the relationships between teachers' collective efficacy behaviours and organizational culture. In the research, parallel design, which converges from mixed method designs in which quantitative and qualitative methods are used together, was used. The predictive correlation design was used in the quantitative dimension and the phenomenological design was used in the qualitative dimension. The universe of the research consists of teachers working in primary, secondary and high schools in Nizip district of Gaziantep province. In the quantitative part of the study, data were collected from 395 teachers using stratified sampling (primary school, secondary school and high school) using the " Collective Teacher Efficacy Behaviours Scale" and the "Organizational Culture Scale". The study group of the research consists of 15 teachers randomly selected from among the teachers from whom quantitative data were collected. As a result of the analyses made; teachers' collective efficacy behavior average scores are at the level of "agree", there is no statistically significant difference in terms of variables, the average scores of the organizational culture scale are at the level of "agree", there is a statistically significant difference in favor of schools with 41 or more teachers according to the number of teachers variable. It was concluded that there was no difference in terms of demographic variables. It was observed that there is a positive and significant relationship between teachers' collective efficacy behaviours and organizational culture. As a result of the regression analysis, it was concluded that teachers' collective efficacy behaviours predicted organizational culture by 58%. In the qualitative analysis; It has been concluded that the negative opinion that stands out in teachers' collective efficacy behaviours is lack of communication and inability to be open to development, the obstructive opinion that stands out in organizational culture perceptions is lack of communication and weak cooperation. In the light of the results obtained; It is recommended to inform teachers about the effects and consequences of collective behaviours, to organize applied local courses on the basis of cooperation and teamwork, and to investigate the reasons for low social relations in schools.
