Abstract (EN)

Analytical psychology, with the archetype theory it introduced to the field, has enabled the individual to know himself and to protect his own wealth by delving into the depths of the unconscious. Jung, the roots of analytical psychology and one of the most important changes in psychology, says: "A person's own potential can only change when he is aware of his own archetypes." Archetypes, which are so influential on human life, are of course also reflected in the field of literature. The face of archetypes reflected in literature can also be seen in the works of Oğuz Atay. Atay's literary style, the fictional structure of the material he uses, his focus on the inner world of the individual and his use of subconscious techniques make his works suitable for examination within the framework of the theory of archetypes. Many works have previously been examined within the framework of archetypes theory. However, during the field studies, it was seen that although many studies were conducted on Oğuz Atay's works, not all of his works were analyzed within the framework of the theory of archetypes. In this study, Atay; His works titled Unable to Hold On, Dangerous Games, A Scientist's Novel, Action Science, Living with Games, Waiting for Fear and Diary were examined in the light of psychoanalysis data. The effects of archetypes on the characters in Atay's narrative world have been traced.
