Corpus of Oğuz Ergeç Collection (research - fol.1a-80a transcribed text - facsimile edition)

In this study, 1r-80r portion of a collection that consists of 330 folios and is thought to be compiled step by step in the late 18th and the early 19th century is examined. Although the work is scanned to identify its compositor, no information is found. When throughout the work is examined, none of record is reached at. Since the work is in the hands of individual, library or catalogue record is not found either. Though the collection mostly includes a variety of verse forms such as ghazal, qasida, tawârikh, musaddas, takhmis and mufrad, it is a voluminous work which also contains prose texts. The folios 1r-80r on which we studied includes 563 poetries of 208 poets who lived between the 12th and 19th centuries. In the first chapter of the work, the subject, scope and importance of the work are explained, while in the second chapter entitled "Majmuas in the Turkish Literature" brief information is given about the literal and terminological meanings of majmua, classification of majmua and the importance of poetic majmuas. In the third chapter, after a general information about the majmua, the poems mentioned between folios1r-80r, nazires and aruz patterns are given place, and contents features of the portion we study on is analyzed and finally a table which reflects the contents of the work is appended. In the fourth chapter the text of the majmua between the folios 1r-80r is transcribed. In the fifth last chapter, the conclusions of the research are listed.
