Investigation of evaluation possibilities of oxide zinc ores

The aim of this study is investigating the beneficiation of oxidized zinc ore by gravitional methods and flotation.Multi gravity separator and Knelson concentrator are used as high gravity separators for gravitational processing methods. Optimum experimental parameters were obtained by studying different particle sizes and device parameters.In flotation studies of the oxidized zinc ore, optimum parameters were investigated to achieve acceptable zinc grade and recovery. The experimental procedure was decided according to the characteristics of the zinc ore for the flotation test.
