Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to examine the opinions of teachers and parents on values education through school-family cooperation. This study, designed in the general screening model, consists of classroom teachers and parents working in primary schools in the central district of Rize in the 2018-2019 academic year. The data of the study were collected by interview and document analysis techniques, and two different tools, "Teacher Interview Form" developed by the researcher and "Parent Interview Form", were used as data collection tools. The data collection tools developed by the researcher were conducted in the form of interviews with teachers and questionnaires with parents. Content analysis method and descriptive analysis method were used in analyzing the data. As a result of the research, the importance of cooperation among all stakeholders in values education has been revealed. In this context, projects that will enable teachers to keep their communication channels open and create opportunities to be in environments that will improve social relations can be suggested.
