Abstract (EN)
In this study, it is aimed to determine the effect of parental attitudes on 48-66 months children who were diagnosed Separation Anxiety Disorder during preschool adaptation period. For this study a 60-children sample consisting of 48-66 months, diagnosed and undiagnosed children and their parents was composed. The descriptive data related with adaptation process of preschool students and their parents' attitudes were examined and parental attitude scale has been applied. It is observed that parents' level of acceptance of democratic attitude was higher than acceptance of overprotective attitude. Furthermore a negative significant relation was observed between authoritarian parental attitude, overprotective attitudes, permissive parental attitudes and children's adaptation processes. The other result of this study was the observation of positive significant relation between democratic parental attitude and children's adaptation processes.
