daha sonra doldurulacaktı21st century technologies have brought many developments, and these developments have led to changes and the prominence of certain skills. 21st century skills, which also includes media literacy, consists of life and career skills, learning and innovation skills (4Cs), information-media and technology skills. The aim of this study is to examine preschool children's information, media and technology skills and media literacy levels. In this study, practitioner action research method was used which is one of the action research methods. Practitioner action researchs allow the researcher to be a practitioner at the same time, thus enabling in-depth information to be obtained from the study group. The study group of the study consists of 22 children in the 5-6 age group attending a preschool education institution in the province of Istanbul. In order to collect research data, "Technophiles Information, Media, Technology Skills Child Interview Form" and "Demographic Information Form" forms which are prepared by the researcher were used based on the materials named "Media Literacy Scale for Children- Cimo" (36 - 72 Months), "Technophiles Television Dictionary" which is developed by the researcher and "21st Century Skills Scale for 5-6 Year Old Children (DAY – 2)". The data were analyzed with the MaxQda 2023 package program. It was concluded that the children participating in the study had high information, media and technology skills, but low media literacy levels. In response, an action plan was implemented to increase children's knowledge and skills regarding smart signs and it was observed that the level of media literacy increased.
