Abstract (EN)
This research was organized to analysis the relationship between multiple intelligences and prosocial behaviors of 48-60 month old children receiving pre-school education. The sample of this research survey model was used, consists of 160 mothers,160 fathers and 160 children at four kindergardens, two of them are in Amasya and other four in a secondary school in Taşova district in 2016-2017 educational year. For the data collection, Child Prosociality Scale (Mom and Dad's sheet), TIMI (Inventory of Multiple Intelligences) test and demographic information form were used in this research. Descriptive statistics, percentage and frequency were used in analyzing the data T- test, Correlation and One-way ANOVA were used to see if there is a significant difference between the groups. According to the finding of the research, the dominant intelligence areas of the children are found respectively like this: Visual-spatial intelligence, logical-mathematical intelligence, verbal-linguistic intelligence, bodily-kinesthetic intelligence, personal-internal intelligence, rhythmic-musical intelligence, and interpersonal-social intelligence. Of all the variables like gender education status, the number of siblings, she birth order; only the variable of gender was seen to lead to a significant difference in the areas of visaual-spatial and interpersonal-social intelligence (p<0.05). According to the finding of the research, a positive and significant relation was found between the parents evaluation and the prosocial behavior of the children (r= 0.563, p<0.01). Among the variables of gender, parent education status, birth order and the number of siblings; only the varriable of sibling number was seen to causea significant difference in prosocial behavior within the father evaluation (p<0.05). The research also suggests that statistically there isn't a significant relationship between the intelligence areas of the children and their prosocial behaviors.
