Abstract (EN)
The period in which children, who are the dynamism of society, developed the sense of self and discovered their talents; pre-school period. In this period, when the child gains identity, his first perceptions and memories are formed in the places where he received pre-school education with his family. The aim of this study is to determine the environmental factors of the pre-school education buildings considering the physiological needs of the child; lighting and ventilation, material, capacity and order, color, ergonomics, under the headings of the province of Konya to investigate and the problems arising as a result of this research is to shed light to educators and designers. Within the scope of the thesis, the standards of indoor environmental factors in preschool education structures were tried to be obtained and the suitability of these factors in the education of children was investigated. Pre-school education structures; definition, purpose, history, interior environment conditions generally consist of education areas, game and skill areas, service and circulation areas. In determining the indoor environmental factors of preschool education structures, the national and international sources and theses and articles were taken into consideration and the digital data standards of the Ministry of National Education were taken into consideration. First of all, spatial planning analysis, then the environmental factors in these spaces; lighting and ventilation, material, capacity and order, color, ergonomics. In spatial planning analysis, fiction and methods between administrative units, service areas and learning spaces were examined. The psychological and physical effects of the defined indoor environmental factors on the students were determined by referring to previous researches. In the third section, 10 characteristic schools were identified in Konya. These schools were selected from nursery and day care centers and preschools in consultation with pre-school counselors. Firstly, in the arrangement of the zoning plan, schools that have been allocated gender as a school have been identified, but since they are very few, the buildings which have been converted into educational buildings have been examined. The application of the standards of indoor environmental factors defined as result and evaluation in the educational structures examined, the suitability of their measurements and capacities over the plan schemes, and other environmental factors were evaluated in the tables. According to the findings and evaluations of the thesis, the determinations were made in order for the users to have more efficient and comfortable education in terms of physical and psychological aspects of indoor environmental factors. When evaluated in all respects, this study can be considered as a step in its own field.
