Moreover, to examine the validty reliablity of the test, KR-20 test was used for computing the test' consistency coefficient. Re-test correlation coefficient has helped for evalueting the test if it gives consistent measurements or not depend on time. Mann Whitney U-Test has provide to control the validity of scale. Also % 27 - top % 27 material analyzing process has being used.Research results show that chess educated pupils has had higher mathematic skill points (U=119.5, p<0.05). They have answered more question in mathematic test correctly and have had high points (U=117.5, p<0.05). When looked at the reliability range values, pupils had performed due their age or better than expected (U=121.5, p<0.05) In addition to these, they had got high points from 'Chess knowledge survey forum (U=210, p<0.05).Chess player pupils analyze results in section B.22 and section B.44 of 'Erken Matematik Testi-3 show that they have performed better than non-chess player pupils in such cases as having a mental number lineer in one digit numbers and writing in two digit numbers, counting in big numbers after accumulation, displaying of variation feature of operation in addition symbolically, having a mental number lineer in two digit numbers, counting of objects one by one from 11 to 20 and subtracting small number from big number or subtracting numbers from theirselves in one digit numbers. These results show that chess education at preschool has a positive influence on pupils' mathematic skills.Key Words: Pre-school education, mathematics, math skills, chess.
