Abstract (EN)
This research was carried out to examine the use of rhymes and game rhymes in preschool education from various aspects. In this study, the "status pattern", which is one of the qualitative research models, was used. The participants of the research were selected according to the purposeful and easily accessible case sampling method. The data examined within the scope of the research; Preschool teacher was collected through semi-structured interview forms, including interview form and child interview form. The study group of this research consists of 741 children attending pre-primary education institutions in Tavsanli district of Kütahya province and 47 preschool teachers who are their teachers. Data Collection Process was carried out in 5 stages after selecting the sample group. These are: "the preparation phase of the interview forms, the research permit phase, the interview phase with the teachers, the phase of the interview with the students, the stage of scanning the class libraries". Interviews with teachers and children were carried out by the researcher himself. In addition, research observation notes were taken in this process. The data in the study were analyzed using descriptive analysis and content analysis technique. When the results of the research are examined, there are no books with a number of books in the preschool class and school libraries, and the number of rhyme books is insufficient; When we look at the methods preferred by teachers in using rhymes and counters, they generally use the repetition method; it is concluded that the majority of pre-school teachers reach rhymes and game rhymes accountants over the internet. In addition, the vast majority of preschool teachers declared themselves inadequate in terms of rhymes and numerals; some even stated that they were turning to songs rather than rhymes and quizzes, while others stated that there wasn't much time left for rhymes. When the research findings are analyzed, it is stated that the majority of preschool teachers do not adequately support nursery rhymes and game rhymes. It was determined that the children in the study group knew several rhymes. In the research, it was determined that children learn rhymes and rumors mostly from their mothers and then from their teachers. In addition, there is a sample rhyme and counting list prepared for use in pre-school education. Keywords: Nursery Rhyme, Game Rhymes, Preschool Language Development
