The effect of pre-school education on primary school performance

In this thesis, we examine the effects of pre-school education on primary students success. According to this thesis, it?s been prooved that pre-school education has positive effects on children?s future education life. The aim of this thesis is also to gather datas from student?s parents and primary school teachers about the effects on pre-school education on primary school performance. The datas are collected as a result of the questionnaires are enough to prove this thesis.In the survey that had been made on 2006-2007 education year, questionnaires are distributed to 361 student?s parents and 27 teachers to determine the success of the students. At the same time these student?s report grades had been taken.As the results of these survey it?s been prooved that the students who had taken pre-school education are more successful than the other students who had not take the pre-school education. Also the students success who had taken pre-school education depends on the family?s economic and cultural level, environmental, physiological factors and student?s intelligence. Also the pre-school education effects children?s social-emotional, physical, cognitive development and language skills.
