Abstract (EN)

Preschool teachers are one of the people who guide children in many ways in the pre-school period and are role models for them. Considering this situation, it is important how much preschool teachers use technology, which has become an indispensable element of our lives. In this context, this research aims to examine the technology self-efficacy levels of preschool teachers in terms of various variables. This research is a descriptive study in survey type. The universe of the research is in the official independent kindergartens in the districts of Konak, Foça, Aliağa, Karşıyaka, Bayraklı, Dikili, Bergama, Menemen, Çiğli and in public schools that have a kindergarten in the 2020-2021 academic year. It consists of pre-school teachers who are working. Since it was aimed to reach the entire universe, no sample selection was made. Accordingly, the sample of the research consists of 157 schools that use at least one of the technological education tools in their classrooms and that work in the official independent kindergartens of Konak, Foça, Aliağa, Karşıyaka, Bayraklı, Dikili, Bergama, Menemen, Çiğli districts and in public schools that have a kindergarten pre-teacher. The "Technology Use in Education Self-Efficacy Scale" was used in the study, which was developed by Doğru (2014), 48 items and whose reliability and validity calculations were made. The findings obtained from the study showed that the technology self-efficacy levels of preschool teachers did not differ significantly according to the gender variable, however, they differed significantly in the whole scale or in at least one sub-dimension of the scale, according to their education level, seniority and technology use. Keywords: Preschool Teachers, Technology, Technology Self-efficacy
