Özet (EN)

The research is in a descriptive screening model and aims to determine whether there are any effects of active spore participation on the level of anger by evaluating the anger levels of individuals who actively participate in and non participate in school sports competitions. In the 2017-2018 academic year, the province of Antalya is the provincial center of the research, 5 middle schools which are thought to represent the accessibility and the districts of the central provinces, and the sample group consists of 500 students studying in these middle schools. The data were obtained by the Multidimensional School Anger Scale developed by Smith Furlong and Bates (2000). The cronboach alpha reliability coefficient of the scale was 0.83 for this study. This value is quite high according to the researchers. Scale sample group was filled with information about the subject by random method. A total of 500 respondents answered the questionnaire. 198 participants were male and 302 were females. In order to evaluate the obtained data, they were transferred to the computer environment and the appropriate statistics were analyzed by programming. Crosstabs, chi-square and frequency (%) techniques were used for statistical analysis. A confidence interval of 0.05 was considered for the determination of the differences. Comments are also made according to the distribution of answers given to each question. It can be said that the anger levels of the individuals participating in the school sport competitions are affected more positively and the levels of anger are lower than the ones not participating in the school sport competitions.
