Abstract (EN)

Neccârzâde Mustafa Rıza Efendi (d. 1679/1746), one of the Naqshbandiyya-Mujaddadiyya representatives in the 18th century Ottoman geography, was a highly influential Sufi in his lifetime. In addition to being a Jalwati caliphate, he was also a mesnevihan [a profession which denotes reading, translating, commenting on the meaning of the Mathnawi] and poet. He compiled various kinds of works, notably his Dîvân. In this study, mainly Menkıbe-i Evliyâiyye fî Ahvâli Rızâiyye, which was written by Ömer Nüzhet Efendi, one of the disciples of Neccârzâde, in the form of hagiography, is examined. In the work, Mustafa Rıza Efendi's life is discussed extensively and information is given about his works, his dervish lodge and his Sufi views. In this study the work which the copy of the author of it is available transformed into present-day Turkish and presented as an appendix.
