Özet (EN)
Optical imaging systems are used to visualize the targets to be monitored using optical, electro-optic and optomechanical components. Variable focus (zoom) optical imaging systems are used to clearly visualize the target at different distances. These systems, also known as 'zoom systems', require some of the lens groups in the lens to move linearly in order to be able to capture images. This can be done manually or with the help of a motor. The optical and mechanical design of these systems is difficult because they contain moving lens groups and require precise position control. In this study, general information about variable focus imaging systems was given and the system was designed and manufactured by deciding on the most appropriate mechanism to form the system. The produced system has been confirmed by design and position control studies have been carried out. The studies related to position control were made both in the simulation environment (MATLAB/Simulink), and on the real system and the results were evaluated.
