Abstract (EN)
This thesis investigates the perception about behavioral changes resulting from romantic relationships in organizations. These behaviors are work performance, job satisfaction, motivation and organizational commitment. For this purpose, a literature review was made on attachment theory which is the basis of love and romantic relationships in the workplace, together with the results of romantic relationships in the workplace. In this study, questionnaire was used as the data collection method. While some participants have completed the survey online, some of them have filled out printed questionnaires. Factor analysis was applied to data that was collected from 229 participants living in Ankara, Kırklareli, Istanbul and Bursa, working in private and public sectors, between the ages of 15-64. Behaviors resulting from romantic relationships in the workplace were grouped under five main factors: "favorable", "unfavorable", "favoritism/nepotism", "interaction" and "negative reaction". However, the regression equation that was formed by various demographic variables did not have significant enough explanatory power. The reason for this, was the probable dominance of uncontrolled variables that were not taken into consideration.
