Abstract (EN)
Organizational commitment is an important concept for business efficiency that expresses commitment of individuals working in the organization. It's undeniable that the employees committed to the organization work more efficiently and improve organization further. In order to achieve predetermined objectives of organizations employees must have higher organizational commitment. It's extremly important for educational institutions similar to other organizations to have organizational commitment among school's employees as they lay groundwork of future. It is easier to raise success bar of school with higher level of organizational commitment among teachers in it. To better understand topic in the first part of my work were given an explaination the description, importance, purpose, theories describing organizational commitment and results of researches about organizational commitment. In in order to determine the factors affecting organizational commitment 261 teachers took part in questionnaire section of this study, in İstanbul city Kartal district. Results of this questionnaire presented in tables have been given in SPSS-15 program after they were analyzed. Based on this data were made necessary assessments and suggestions on how to improve quality and gain success for our schools by increasing organizational commitment.
