Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine the resistance to organizational change and the effect of the intent to quit on worker performance. In this study, Resistance to Organizational Change Scale, Intent to Quit Scale and Individual Work Performance Scales were used to assess the responses of the workers to the changes in their firms. The population of the study is 430 workers in textile industry. The questions prepared in the questionarre were asked to the workers in the population.It is concluded that for the population under study, the resistance to organizational change and the intent to quit decrease the worker performance. It was concluded that the increase in the emotional resistance of the employees who participated in our study partially decreased their performance, but the increase in their emotional resistance decreased their intention to quit.
