Özet (EN)
The aim of this thesis study is to make a general evaluation of the issues of "Orman Mühendisliği Journal", which is related to the Forest Engineering, Forest Industry Engineering and Wood Products Industrial Engineering professions and published by the Chamber of Forest Engineers (OMO), between the years 1962-2020, using the content analysis method. The MAXQDA 2020 program was used in the analysis of the issues of the journal between 1962 and 2020. Most of the journals (1962-2004) were accessed from the library of OMO, and all of the issues between 2005-2020 were accessed from the official website of OMO. The study covers 5663 topics written in the 467 issue of the Orman Mühendisliği journal published between 1962 and 2020. According to the analyzes of the data obtained from the study between 2005 and 2020, it was seen that a total of 1078 subjects were mentioned. It is seen that 405 of these topics are related to Forest Engineering disciplines, and 673 of them are related to News from Chamber-Forestry Meetings and Other Subjects. As a result of the research, evaluations were made about the contents and topics of Orman Mühendisliği journals. According to the study results, it was seen that the studies of OMO were frequently included in the journals. It is suggested that OMO should reduce publications on chamber activities in journals and include more information and problems related to forestry. Keywords: Chamber of forest engineers, Content analysis, Forest engineering journal, Green world journal
