Mathematic fear of secondary high school ninth class students

The purpose of this research; in the ninth grade of secondary education tomanifest the maths fear reasons and proposed some advices.The universe of research; Bolu Centre High School?s ninth grade students.Two of these scholls chosed by random change for sampling on universe. There was240 ninth grade students in these schools.In the data collection, questionnaire prepared by researcher under the expertsupervision. In order to questionnaire?s validity and reliability to consulted toexpert?s opinions. To measured the questionnaire reliability ?Cronbach Alpha?applied and the questionnaire?s reliability coefficient found as alfa= 0,92.In the questionnaire; first questionnaire?s instruction afterwards student?spersonal informations and lastly to determine the student?s maths fear levels in thequestionnaire included 30 substances.In the questionnaire; quintet grade scale used, in the datas analyze,percentage, arithmetic mean, standart deviation, ?t? test single dimension varyansanalysis and in the single dimension varyans analysis, if the significant differencesstates occur utilized from the Scheffle test calculations.In this research; students opininons taken and attained to following results.1. Found out that; in the ninth grade of secondary education concerning to mathsfear the students perceptions on the moderate level.2. Concerning to maths fear in the ninth grade of secondary education therewas not find any significant differences between the girls and boys perceptions.3. Concerning to maths fear in the ninth grade of secondary education therewas not find any significant differences between the student?s school type and themaths fear. Determined that the general high school student?s maths fear morehigher.4. Found out that; in the ninth grade of secondary education, the student?smaths fear level does not change according to the situation of their mother?seducation.5. Found out that; in the ninth grade of secondary education the student?smath fear levels displayed significant differences according to father?s educationsituation. Determined that; the students whose fathers graduated from primaryeducation their maths fear higher than the student?s whose fathers graduated fromuniversity.6 . Found out that; in the ninth grade of secondary education the student?smaths fear not change according to mother?s profession7 . Found out that; in the ninth grade of secondary education the student?smaths fear not change according to father?s profession.8 .
