The evaluation of the level of job satisfaction of the teachers who work at high schools with an applied study

Job satisfaction is defined as the pleasure or displeasure that people feel and is an important factor which impels them to work.The job an individual has and the time the spends at work comprises a big part of his life and business life affects an individual?s life style and personality. As a result, a job is an important factor that determines a person?s place in the society, his life style, his clothing, his attitudes and reflections, his aims and values, his view of life, being successful or unsuccessful, the friends he has a relationship with, his partner choice, his living conditions, his family income, his way of making a living, working with pleasure or not ? shortly, his happiness and his job saticfaction.It is necessary to increase the satisfaction sources of the teachers, who are the milestones of educational institutions, so that they can do their duty, which is the necessity of their jobs in the most productive way and to determine the reasons of the unpleasureness and investigate them. Because of these reasons, with this research, it is tried to be determined if the job saticfaction of the teachers who work at high schools discriminate according to demografic factors and the factors that affect their job saticfaction according to the school types they work at.
