The reasons for effective learning of goreign language education in secondary schools unsuccessfully

Active learning enables the students to have self-esteem, not to be afraid of making mistakes, to manage their learning by themselves, to have possitive relationships with their friends and authorities, to be awere of the feelings and thoughts of the people around them.This study aims to determine the reasons for Effective learning of foreign language education in secondary schools unsuccessfully, the survey model was applied for that study. Survey was done in March of 2009 in the different parts from Fatih district of Istanbul city center, English teachers who work in secondary schools below. Our study includes some kinds of high schools such as Anatolian High School which has Preparatory classes, Anatolian Teacher Training High School, Anatolian Vocational High School, Vocational High School, Multi-Program High School, Public High Schools and Private Colleges . Totally 56 foreign language teachers who work in those 17 secondary schools paticipated in that survey.
