Critical success factors in total quality management implimentation in secondary education: A secondary education i̇nstitution application

In this study, the critical success factors in total quality management implimentation in secondary education institutions are tried to be determine in terms of students, schoool workers and parents. The study consists of three parts . In first part, The definition of total quality management and its history, the distinctive features of total quality management and its basic elements, the basic tools used in implimentation of total quality management, the gains of total quality management, the transition time to the total quality management and the methods for reaching at success in total quality management are referred to mentioned. In second part; The definition of education under the title of total quality management in secondary education, The total quality management applications in Ministry of National Education from past to the present, the total quality management applications in secondary education, critical success factors, the benefits of the total quality management applications in secondary education, The time period of the total quality management applications in secondary education, The relationships between TKY in secondaru education and strategic planning are contacted to be investigate. In the third part, the questionnaires containing the critical success factors in total quality management applications in secondary education in terms of students, school workers and parents,-104 students,13 school workers and 104 parents were questionned- have beeen carried out in many multiple programmed high scholl in Bartın. The results of preset applications were measured and evaluated and tried to define the tasks in strategic planning of next coming years and determine the open areas for improvement directing the works of School Development and Management Team.
