İnvesti̇gati̇on of the relati̇onshi̇p between attachment styles and deci̇si̇on maki̇ng styles of secondary students

This study examined the relationship between attachment style and decision-making styles of middle school students. Research 2014-2015 academic year Aydos Istanbul Sultanbeyli district of the province in Ümraniye district middle school and continue their education at the secondary and Nihat Sami Banarlı was conducted on students who volunteer to participate in research. The study said a total of 328 volunteers were students from the school. Research and attachment styles of decision-making in some variables (gender, economic and educational status of parents, number of siblings, etc.) that has been affected to questioning. The findings obtained in the study are summarized below. 5. Connecting obsessed with the middle school students in the class of 6th grade students in the inability to connect to others, the Grade 7 and Grade 8 students in the student fearful attachment was found that the intensity of feeling secure attachment. In Grade 5 and Grade 6 students in decision-making style remains unstable and of rational decision-making behavior, decision-making and in Grade 6 submissive and yielded the finding that high of suspense decision-making behavior. As well as decision making and affected by the gender of attachment are among the findings of the research. Their decisions to middle school students in the study were also questioned as they have affected their attachment styles. Secure attachment with rational decision making negative correlation between the remaining undecided, preoccupied with making a logical connection between the decision and remain undecided positive, decision-making and submissive negative correlation was found between the suspense decision. Making rational decisions and by dismissing attachment increases were observed that increased decide suspense. Fearful of living has been reached in connection with the findings given more rational decisions.
