Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this research is to examine the relationship between secondary school students' perception of God, life satisfaction and psychological resilience according to some variables and to determine the relationship between them. The relational screening model, one of the quantitative research methods, was used in the research. The sample of this research consists of secondary school students between the ages of 10-15. Data from 617 participants, 371 (60.1%) women and 246 (39.9%) men, were included in the study. In the study, The God Image Scale for Children (Yıldız, 2012), The Life Satisfaction Scale for Children (Ekşı̇ & Altay, 2018), which was translated into Turkish and recreated, and the Child and Youth Psychological Resilience Scale (Arslan, 2015), socio-demographic information form were used. The research data was given and answered by hand as a survey for secondary school students. Research data were analyzed statistically with the IBM SPSS 22.0 computer program. Independent samples t-Test was used to determine whether the average scores of the secondary school students participating in the study on God Image for Children, Life Satisfaction for Children and Child and Youth Psychological Resilience Scale differed significantly according to gender and school type. ANOVA, one of the parametric analyses, was applied to determine the existence of differences between more than two independent variables and which variables differed. According to the research findings, secondary school students' God image, life satisfaction and psychological resilience differed according to gender, school type, grade level, and mother and father's education level. In addition, a positive and significant relationship was found between the God image and its sub-dimensions, the reassuring and supportive God image, and life satisfaction, a positive and significant relationship between the God image and its sub-dimensions and psychological resilience, and a positive and significant relationship between life satisfaction and psychological resilience.
