Abstract (EN)

One of the significant contributions of Orientalism is that has braught a new understanding to the perception and comprehension of historicality, occurances, processess and concepts. Depending this feature, orientalism ? in terms textual analys ? has shown up as an episteme, which has almost gronh out of being empirical. That is what makes it avaible for uses in various levels. Prior to anything else, Orientalism has launched a distinct point of view and has gained a novel stance to polemics, in terms of both power relationships and conversations and has costantly questioned the west?s point of view on the east. According to some views, Orientalism is non ? scientific in that it conves an utmost enigma as to what as to what really the east is. This study has been achived attempt to present some general knowledge on Orientalism, by means of comparing different conversations and distinct view on Orientalism.
