It is difficult to connect the cultural values that people have accumulated through the ages to a single society in the future generations. As a matter of fact, it is usual to see the reflections of many cultures throughout the ages such as Anatolia to many states and cultures. In this sense, the societies that describe themselves to the future generations with the history and now may have common cultural values. The phenomenon of clothing from the basic needs of people is a common aspect of every society. On the other hand, the marriage institution they carry out for the continuation of the generations of mankind is important as to the location and results. Therefore, as in every field of sensitivity, people have performed a number of traditions and pineapple on marriage. Of course, in the beginning of these traditions, the basic requirements of humanity are clothing. In the course of marriage, the woman's clothing has undergone constant change and improvement over the ages. During the study, the evolution of the dress/dress of the women/brides who married in the wedding ceremonies from Ottoman to present in Turkish culture was examined.
