Adaptation of the women costumers of the Ottoman palace to today's fashion

The Ottoman Empire has been one of the most powerful empires of the world for over 600 years. The wellknown successful period of the Ottomans is the 16th and 17th centuries. In this period, the Ottoman Empire has become to it's highest levels in every way of livin'. Being landed of both Orient and Occident, so were its people, so also were its culture and its government. The Ottoman Sultans have ruled the government by themselves but with the forceful influences of their mothers; "Valide Sultans" and their wives; "Women Sultans" These women had very special roles in the government. Harem; one of the most enigmatic words of the Ottoman Empire, from far East to the deepest West, has always been a subject of interest for both men and women. Literally, Harem means "the women's quarters of a Muslim household". The character of an Oriental harem has often been set forth incorrectly. While it contained hundreds or even thousands of women, a very few of these were the actual consorts of the monarch. A large number were personal servants and entertainers. All of these women were popular with their beauties, long and shiny hair and marvelous way of dressings. Ottoman fabrics were weaved with gold and silver threads and the costumes such as "Kaftan" s and "Entari" s were being prepared by the palace tailors. In this work, the whole story about the Otoman Palace costumes have written and then costume designs are done as the adaptation of the costumes of the Ottoman Palace. At last, those designs are brought up as costumes.
