Abstract (EN)

The Covid-19 virus which entered our lives in 2019 defined as a global epidemic by the World Health Organization due to the incresing death rates. In the pandemic process with the closure of schools face to face education was interrupted and an alternative method distance education was started. Transition to distance education to all schools types and levels affected the educational life of students directly or indirectly. This situation caused stakeholders in the sector of education to have positive or negative attitudes to distance education process. Stated attitudes through distance education has brought the need of practical research. The aim of this research is to demostrate the effectiveness of teaching the skill of dealing with offers and threats coming from the foreigners by using video modeling to the individuals with moderate-severe Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). Three students who were from secondary and high school degreee in Bursa Special Education Practice School attended to the research in 2020-2021 education year. The research was designed by using multiple probe across students design. Data collection tools which were developed by the research were used in the research. Video modeling was used to teach the skill of coping with three different proposals coming from foreigners. As a result the desired change was observed in the behaviors of moderate-severe students with ASD by using video modeling in distance teaching according to the research data. The result of the research showed that teaching the skills of coping with the proposals by foreigners using video modeling in distance teaching was effective. The maintanence and generalization data were also provided in the research.
