The effectiveness of teaching with simultaneous prompting at the teaching of the tooth brushing skill to autism children

In this research, the effectiveness of teaching with simultaneous prompting at the teaching of the tooth brushing skill to children with autism, was investigated. Furthermore, observe the permissive effect after 1,3 and 4 weeks of education, and also the effect of generalization with location, equipments, time, practising was investigated in this research.Research was investigated with two girls and one boy students aged between nine and ten going to primary school in Autism Children Educational Center in a district of Tekirdağ Corlu Dependent and performing tooth brushing skil first condition behaviours. Multiple probe design, daily processing, teaching and observing sessions were regulated to evaluate the effectiveness of teaching with simultaneous prompting to the design on the tooth brushing skills , single opportunity method was used for evaluation.All the sessions were carried out in one on one instruction.The Skill was taught in such a way that teaching all the steps together by using being modeling and verbal prompt together during the teaching. In the research, observations reliability and application reliability data were collected.Research findings show that teaching with simultaneous prompting is effective for the teaching of the tooth brushing skills to children with autism the using the habit of tooth brushing on the different location, different time of the day, different toothbrushes and different tubes of toothpaste processing skill which is taught durable after one, two and four weeks later.Key Words: : Autism , simultaneous prompting, Errorless Teaching
