Determination and evaluation of nefes and whirl made the Cem of Otman Baba Pursuance Köşençiftliği and Turkgucu Village example

The Alevi Bektaşı faith has been passed mainly by oral culture, from generation to generation, with traces of various beliefs in it, and has taken people to the center of it and has lasted in Anatolia and the Balkans for centuries. The cem ceremonies, an essential element of the worship practice of this faith, have an important place for the transfer and continuity of both faith practices and music. In addition, the songs in the communities are important in terms of the musical repertoire of Turkish Sufi Folk Music. "Determination and Evaluation of Nefes and Whirl made in the Cem of Otman Baba Pursuance. Köşençiftliği and Türkgücü Village Example" This study, which we discussed with the topic, consists of three sections; the introduction (first) section, provides an overview of the historical identity of Otman Baba and the current communities in Edirne and Tekirdağ; then the purpose of the research is explained, the literature summary of the data obtained, the method of research, the sampling of the universe, the assumption and the numbers. The second part of the study provides an overview of the etymology and meaning of the term Cem under the faith of Alevi Bektaşi and the worship of Cem, and the types of works performed in the communities. In the third part of the study, there are notes written by us under the main topic of the examination of the whirl and nefes (type of sufi music) performed in working area in the in the Cem that are subject of the study and the melodic, rhythmic and maqam structures, form characteristics are evaluated and concluded. In the result section, all data in the study has been evaluated, overall deductions have been obtained and these deductions have been found as a whole. In addition to the study, the prayers said during Cem worship and photographs taken in the cem environment.are submitted.
