Abstract (EN)

Today, it is seen that many works have been implemented in order to minimize human labor and technologies that can make their own decisions are developed. The field of transportation is also advancing with the following development trend. Autonomous vehicles are now used in countries such as the USA, China, UK, South Korea, New Zealand for transportation, commercial, military and p. used for multiple purposes. It is predicted that autonomous vehicles, which will provide extraordinary advantages in reducing problems such as human-induced errors, loss of time and nature pollution, will be offered to many markets in the future and will be preferred by people. However, today, infrastructure and technical inadequacy, security and safety problems, high purchasing, transportation and operating costs create difficulties in front of the widespread use of autonomous vehicles. Traditional traffic control methods, such as traffic signal and stop sign control, are not optimal for all demand levels, as shown in the literature. Recently, numerous research studies have suggested Intelligent Transportation System (AUS) applications to increase intersection capacity and thus reduce congestion. In this study, we propose a game theory-based algorithm to control autonomous vehicle movements equipped with Cooperative Adaptive Cruise Control (CACC) systems at uncontrolled intersections. Keywords: autonomous vehicles, intersections, 5G technology, V2X technology, game theory
