Özet (EN)
Aim: The effects of CD47 expression on clinical-pathological features and prognosis in malignant ovarian tumors were investigated. Material-method: Objective: The effects of CD47 expression on clinical-pathological features and prognosis in malignant ovarian tumors were investigated. Material-method: CD47 expression was evaluated immunohistochemically in sections taken from paraffin blocks of 83 patients diagnosed with ovarian cancer in Çukurova University Balcalı Hospital. Results: While CD47 expression was not detected in 38,6% of 83 patients with ovarian cancer, CD47 expression was detected in 61,4%. Conclusion: High CD47 expression caused shortening in OS and PFS and was associated with poor prognosis. The importance of the presence and height of CD47 expression has been demonstrated clinico-pathologically. Keywords: CD47, ovarian cancer, immunohistochemistry, monoclonal antibody, prognosis
