Abstract (EN)

Oyhan Hasan Bıldırki, who has been producing works in various genres since the 1960s, is known for his identity as a writer, poet, and researcher. Recognized as one of the storytellers of the Hisar movement, Bıldırki stands out as a living representative of this group by reflecting their artistic principles and literary values in his works. In this study, Bıldırki's novels Dönülmez Yol and Koçaklar 1915-Çanakkale were analyzed, and his skills as a novelist were introduced. The thesis consists of two main chapters in addition to the introduction. In the "Introduction" section, which serves as preparatory groundwork, the Hisar movement and Bıldırki's position within this group are briefly summarized to better understand his place in Turkish literature. The Hisar writers advocated for literature to have a national character, to avoid ideological influences, and to use the living Turkish language. It is evident that Bıldırki, adhering to these principles, reflected both individual and social themes in his works. In this respect, the study aims to understand Bıldırki's position in Turkish literature and evaluate his literary contributions. The first chapter, titled "Oyhan Hasan Bıldırki's Place in Turkish Literature", provides information about the author's life and works. His books and interviews were used as references for this section. The second chapter, which forms the core of the study, is titled "Oyhan Hasan Bıldırki's Novels and His Approach to Novel Writing". This chapter examines the writing process, types of narrators and narrative techniques, content characteristics, structural elements, and stylistic and linguistic features of the novels. In the "Conclusion" section, Bıldrki's place in Turkish literature was determined based on inferences drawn from the analyzed novels.
