At the same time, psychological endurance and burnout levels in this study were examined regarding various variables. One hundred and ninety-eight teachers working in special education in various districts of İstanbul participated in the research. Personal Information Form, Maslach Burnout Inventory and Adult Psychological Endurance Scale were used as data collecting tools. Scanning model was used in our research. The analysis of the data was made by SPSS 21 program. As a result of the research, a significant difference in negative direction between the psychological endurance and burnout levels of the teachers working in special education was determined. It was concluded that there is no role of gender in the relation between psychological endurance and burnout. As age increases, psychological endurance increases and burnout level decreases. The variables of marital status, whether choosing the profession voluntarily or not and whether being satisfied with the institution they work have a role on the levels of burnout and psychological endurance.
