Abstract (EN)

This study aims to explain whether the summarizing, selectively writing and dictation methods have an effect and contribution to the Secondary School students' Turkish lessons writing skills. In this sense, activities and studies were prepared for determining the relation of causality between the versions. Experimental design, with the pretest-posttest control group, which is one of the quantitative research methods, was used in this study. To collect the data, in 2000, at the Çanakkale On Sekiz Mart University Dr. Under the consultancy of Alemdar YALÇIN, 27-item "Written Expression Assessment Scale" was prepared by Kemalettin DENİZ for her master thesis was used with permission. Research, in the 2019-2020 academic year, 5th-grade students studying at Altınbaşak Secondary School in Şanlıurfa Eyyübiye district, was done with an experimental and control group which was selected randomly. Since it is not possible to involve all the students entering the universe in the research, sampling has been done. The sample of the study comprises of 28 5th grade students studying at Altınbaşak School, chosen coincidentally (randomly, objectively). There are 2 5th class branches at the school of research. One of the classes in the school was random (random, neutral) as the experiment and the other as the control group. The evaluations, made as a result of the research, were made on the students who participated in both pre-test and post-test. The experiment and control groups consist of 14 people. Quantitative data were analyzed with SPSS. Based on the research findings, the experimental group is for the experimental and control group post-test scores of summary extraction, selective writing and dictation methods. As a result, effective judgment of summary writing, selective writing and dictation methods on Turkish lesson writing skills has been reached.
