Abstract (EN)

The recent development of technology has triggered mass production. At the same time, it has increased the product variety, capacity, the reliability and controllability of the products has become a necessity. The change in the quality of the products revealed the necessity and importance of using halal and healthy products. Thus, the concept of halal certification has emerged. The first research in this area was conducted in Malaysia, then in Europe. Nowadays it has become more important in Pakistan. In order to determine the halal food perceptions of consumers in Pakistan, survey application method was used. A survey was conducted on 453 participants. The data obtained was analyzed with SPSS Program. Data was analyzed with reliability analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, t and ANOVA tests. The results of the research show that the consumers are sensitive to halal food in Pakistan. Key Words: Halal food, Pakistan, consumer behavior
