To Pamukkale University hematology clinic applicable mantle cell lymphoma patients retrospective of clinicopathological properties investigation and expression of SOX-11 evaluation

Lymphomas are malignancies originating from various differentiation stages of the cells that make up the immune system. They show different characteristics, behaviors and produce different clinical results according to the differentiation stage they originate from. Lymphomas are divided into non-Hodgkin lymphoma (HDL) and Hodgkin lymphoma (HL). Mantle cell lymphoma (MHL) develops from naive B cells in the mantle zone of lymphoid follicles. In this study, parameters that may affect the survival of patients diagnosed with MCL, especially SOX11, were investigated. The aim of this study is to identify prognostic markers that can help in the follow-up of the disease and give an idea to clinicians about treatment options and disease progression. Our study included 38 patients who were diagnosed with MHL and followed up in Pamukkale University Medical Faculty Hospital Hematology Department between January 2016 and June 2022. The information of the patients was obtained by scanning the hospital electronic file system records. Pathology and genetic results, demographic data, disease stages, laboratory data, chemotherapy regimens and treatment responses of 38 patients were evaluated retrospectively. These parameters were grouped and their effects on survival were analyzed statistically. At the end of our study, age at diagnosis in MHL patients, patients diagnosed with gastrointestinal system and intra-abdominal bulky mass as the first diagnosis site, leukocyte count and β2-microglobulin levels at diagnosis, patients with bulky mass, patients' IPI, MIPI and MIPI-C scores, primary care A statistically significant relationship was found between response to treatment and OS. As a result, in this study; Various prognostic parameters have been identified that may be effective for survival in patients with MCL and may provide implications for clinicians. This study highlights that MCL is a heterogeneous disease with many different predictive and prognostic variables. The number of patients evaluated in our study does not constitute a large sample.
