Debtor's default is a situation that can occur frequently in debt relationship. In addition to that, most common debt relationship issue is money debts. For this reason, debtor's default most commonly manifest itself in money debts. In this respect, we examined the results of debtor's default in money debts. There are two special results of debtor's default in money debts. These are default interest and excess damage. Whereas it is possible for the default interest to be claimed without the need for the creditor to suffer a direct loss with the default of the debtor, the excess damage can only occur if there is a loss that cannot be covered by the default interest.
