Abstract (EN)
In this work, some classical congruences for the partition function and Ramanujan's τ -function are proved by utilizing basic results from q-theory and Ramanujan's general theta function. Moreover, a generalization of the partition function, related congruences are presented. KEYWORDS: The partition function, Ramanujan's τ -function, q-series, Ramanujan's general theta function
