Abstract (EN)
This study includes formal, tonal analysis and technical study suggestions based on interpretation of the solo sonata composed for Cello by Hindemith, one of the leading composers of German music art and the contemporary period. With this study, working methods are proposed to make the sonata, which includes many different left-hand and bow techniques, be played more easily by today's cello performers, and as a result of these studies, it is aimed to overcome the difficulties. The life of the composer, the general and tonal analysis of the work will guide the performers in the interpretation of the sonata. The printed full text of the works, suggested finger numbers and bowings were arranged and added to the end of the thesis.
