Abstract (EN)

The purpose of the research is to investigate the effects of empowerment and organizational structure independent variables on organizational commitment on working individuals. Scope of the research covers the persons working in the corporate car rental companies operating in Turkey. The survey consisting of 43 questions was used for the research. 282 valid responses were received from the participants. The data obtained were analyzed using reliability, validity, correlation and regression methods through SPSS statistical program. As a result of survey, staff empowerment effects has been partially supported on organizational commitment. The emotional commitment dimension of organizational commitment has been impacted, however continuance commitment and normative commitment dimensions haven't been effected from the staff empowerment. It is observed that organizational commitment directly impacted from the organizational structure. The dimensions of organizational commitment; emotional commitment, continuance commitment and normative commitment has been positively and directly impacted from organizational structure. In the conclusion part, the findings were evaluated by presenting various suggestions to the readers and researches.
