Poisson regression

In this study is aimed to investigate the causes of the accidents that occurthe significant level with the help of Poisson regression analysis in Aksaray city, TurkeyAs the basis of this thesis consist of introduction, materials and methods, findings, results and discussion parts. First of all, the introduction section is to try to emphasize the importance of providing general information about its application. Secondly, materials and methods given both the theoretical part of the thesis and some of the statistical properties. Thirdly the findings part is given application of Poisson regression analysis. It is provided sufficient information about the general characteristics of the structure of the data set. Lastly, some important factors in this study are given by results and discussion parts. In conclusion, the numbers of traffic accident are analyzed with the help of three different models and these models were compared according to the criteria AIC.
