Abstract (EN)
Concrete has been the most popular building material in the field of construction for many years. Various additives and additional materials are used to improve the properties of concrete. One of the most used of these additional materials is fiber. In this thesis, polypropylene fiber was chosen as fiber. With the help of the data obtained in this study, the optimum amount of polypropylene fiber to be used was determined by optimization. In the study, cement dosage was selected as 350,400 and 450 kg / m³. In addition, three different water / cement ratios were used as 0.45, 0.5 and 0.55. Five different polypropylene fibers (12 mm) were added to these mixtures in the ratios of 0.03%, 0.05%, 0.1%, 0.2% and 0.4% of the total volume. In order to determine the mechanical and physical properties of concrete; Compressive strength, splitting tensile strength, ultrasound velocity and water absorption tests were carried out. Using the experimental data obtained, optimum parameter levels were determined with the help of Taguchi method. In addition, the effect of the parameters on the experimental results was determined by analyzing variance.
