Abstract (EN)
SUMMARY "The Examination of Porcelain Lithophane Technique and Investigation of Applicability as Interior Wall Panel" titled thesis study was examined under four chapters. In the first chapter under the title of "Porcelain", definition of porcelain, history, types, material-light relation and the use of porcelain as an art material in the context of its light transmission properties has been investigated. In the second chapter, "Porcelain Lithophane Technique" was introduced, while the definition, history and application methods were examined, the artists who used this technique in their original works were searched, examples were given from their works and connections with contemporary art were established. The third chapter examined under the name of "Interior wall panel" and ceramic wall panel, porcelain wall panel, interior wall panel in terms of usage and design was investigated within the context of Interior-Composition-Form Relation, Function Component Relation in Interior Design, Interior- Lighting relation, Interior - Photographic image relation. The fourth chapter is addressed under the name of "Research and Applications of Interior Wall Panels Made Using Porcelain Lithophane Technique". In this section, porcelain selected as a material and light transmittance of porcelain associated with lithophane technique. Original interior wall panel designs, trials and application studies have been made. In the conclusion section; suggestions, analyzes were revealed and a general evaluation was made.
