Abstract (EN)

Modernism which is given spirit by enlightment and rationalism an Postmodernism which is devoloped and opened out on the base arguments and refutations against the modernism alterted the borders between different kinds of arts and kept the art subject from oppression of borders by means of its multi voice, multi-layered and multidisciplinary nature. In these newest times when the painting is escaped from two dimensional plane to three dimension and architectural structure eliminates the borders with the surroundings and when the truth replaced by simulation and performance turned into representment, theatre is putting its border aside between stage and audience and making the audience and actor non-hierarchial subjects. Stage design discipline would also be nourished from that postmodern aesthetical paradigm which glorifies "now" and "being here". On behalf of forming the concept, this study conduct the postmodernism by means of art, then discuss the effects of the aesthetics components of postmodernism to stage design and explains how stage design benefit from these aesthetic components in the era of postmodernism.
